The Grammar Nazis say this is wrong, but that's because they're still using 1913 grammar books in 2013. The English language evolves and changes ... As I writer, I agree all the way. I bre...Of course! As I writer, I agree all the way. I break lots of rules in my fiction, but I know which rules I'm breaking--and why. At least I strive very hard to know what I'm doing! You can easily distinguish a book, full of broken rules, that is written by someone who doesn't know them from on written by someone who does, IMHO. There's no excuse for a writer to not know how to write.
